Prominent Local Attorney Joins Horizon Council of Trustees

 

The Council of Trustees that governs Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky is pleased to announce the addition of Lewis Diaz, Partner at Dinsmore & Shohl, LLP, to the Council.

“Lewis has been a tireless advocate in our Northern Kentucky community and across the Commonwealth for helping individuals and families to thrive,” said Horizon Community Funds President Nancy Grayson. “Horizon Community Funds is thrilled to welcome him to our Council of Trustees, as he brings invaluable perspective and experience to our board.”

Diaz is a public finance attorney who specializes in affordable housing finance with the goal of ensuring good, safe, accessible, affordable housing for communities across the nation. He is a member of Dinsmore’s nationally ranked Public Finance Practice Group and has worked with a number of statewide issuers of bonds including the Kentucky Housing Corporation and Ohio Housing Finance Agency.

A recognized leader, he has served on numerous boards, including the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission, Kenton County Airport Board, Northern Kentucky Tri-County Area Development District, Northern Kentucky Area Development District, and the Board of Regents for Eastern Kentucky University. Diaz received his Juris Doctor from Northern Kentucky University as well as a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Kentucky University.
